About Me
I am Stephanie, a health and wellness coach focused on mind-body centered work. I assist people with building intrapersonal fundamentals - the ability to be aware of your own moods, emotions, and motives, and shaping your personal competence to redirect your patterns and behaviors.
My purpose is to empower others to reach their fullest potential and to support them through their journey. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their mind and body.
What brought me here? A little over 10 years ago, I was asked, "If the voice in your head sat on the couch next to you - would you be friends with that person?" I immediately answered, "No," without any hesitation.
This started my journey of discovery - why do I act the way I do? Why do I constantly feel the way I do? And why is it so hard to break this habit and change? My inner world was filled with anxiety: continually doubting myself, my decisions, and being bombarded with negative self-talk. This resulted in my Nervous System constantly being in a state of 'fight or flight.'
For over 10 years, I've sought out these answers - delved into therapy, neuroplasticity (rewiring of the brain), Transcendental Meditation, Nervous System methodologies, breathwork, bodywork, hypnosis, and a slew of self-help books. After some time, I became less enthused with 'why' I do it and more determined on 'how' to fix it. I believe habits can be broken, limiting beliefs can evolve, and rewiring the brain is possible. I know because I've done it - becoming a better version of myself.
Here's the reality - this process won't always be easy. Like anything worthwhile, it requires patience, compassion, consistency, and commitment. Rewiring the brain takes time and the ability to practice new skills repeatedly. It’s not a one-time ritual. It’s a living practice. It is the most challenging yet rewarding work you will ever do.
